A 12KW Whole House Solution:

This solution allowed Home Power Systems to install a 12KW whole house transfer solution by separating the A/C loads from the transfer switch. Notice the 4 circuit subpanel below the main breaker. When standby power is applied, the A/C loads are not connected.
